The Season to be thankful for what you have.

Hi everyone,

I am in beautiful Winnipeg! The snow is falling down and the Season of being thankful is here. The season you can spend with the ones you love the most!
I have really come to understand how it feels to be without my own family on Christmas time when I usually were having dinner and were opening presents with my family the last two Christmases I have`nt been able to be with my family in Norway. It is over a year since last time I saw them. Last time I saw them was at a beautiful summer day in July when I married the women of my dreams!

Well since there is Thanksgiving coming up in USA I got to think about what I am thankful for.

Let me share with you why you should be thankful and what you should be thankful for.

Why should we be thankful. I remember when I started to understand why I should be grateful it really changed my life forever. I really did never used to be grateful for anything I did`nt even know what it was. Yet I were born in one of the Worlds richest countries in the world, never lost my job and always had money.

Yet I forgot a very essential part of being alive in this world. GRATITUDE!!

"Thank" redirects here. For the protein symbol THANK, see THANK. For expressing thanks on Wikipedia, see Wikipedia:THANK.

Gratitude, thankfulness, gratefulness, or appreciation is a positive emotion or attitude in acknowledgment of a benefit that one has received or will receive. The experience of gratitude has historically been a focus of several world religions,[1] and has been considered extensively by moral philosophers such as Adam Smith.[2] The systematic study of gratitude within psychology only began around the year 2000, possibly because psychology has traditionally been focused more on understanding distress rather than understanding positive emotions. However, with the advent of the positive psychology movement,[3] gratitude has become a mainstream focus of psychological research.[4] The study of gratitude within psychology has focused on the understanding of the short term experience of the emotion of gratitude (state gratitude), individual differences in how frequently people feel gratitude (trait gratitude), and the relationship between these two aspects.[5][6]

I were never good at being grateful or thankful. I hardly said Thank You.

But yet the word THANK YOU have such great power. The two words thank you can give someone a change of course in life or just that day. It can empower someone. It can make someone Grateful.

I am convinced that being grateful is the second most important thing in life after love.
These two combined is a Super Powerful combination and it can help human beings change from what I were to what I have become today. I am truly in love with life and are very grateful for waking up every morning!

Being grateful creates a very happy life. You can be grateful for anything. I remember when I were supposed to write down my accomplishments and what I was grateful for I think I wrote down: That I accomplished ....... well I never found anything actually.

Well let me tell you what you can be grateful for in your life. Let me give you a short version what comes into my head right now and it will open your mind and get you excited!

There are so many, many things to be so grateful for. I could probably go on for a lifetime :)

Well now I have opened your mind to what you can be grateful for in life. I feel very great every time I get to thank someone for anything.

The most exciting thing about being grateful is that you will receive gratitude the more you give. It is the Law of Giving and Receiving!

It is a very powerful law and it can change your life completely.

Well that is all I could write I unfortunately have to get running, but make this Thanks giving and Christmas the best one ever by telling everyone you spend this holidays with how much you are grateful for having them in your life!!

We are truly blessed to have family, friends and people we meet all the time.
Make sure to tell them. I am thankful for having you in my life. It is the most powerful thing you can say to someone yet it is said so little.

So go out there and Thank everything!!!
